Baseball

On Tuesday night I had my first baseball game. We won 12-1. I played first base and center field. I have another game tonight at 7:00. This is my first year of machine pitch. So far I really like it.

MY WEEK

This week is my last week of school. This week is also the last week of our co-op. So to celebrate, all of our co-op is going to see Prince Caspian this Friday at the movie theater. And after that we are going to a friends house for a pool party. Tomorrow is also our last art class that my mom teaches us. And yesterday was also my last science class so we had a little party. Tonight I have my first baseball game. My team name is the river cats. And tomorrow is also my yearly testing at my friend Owen's house. His mom is the tester.

Great Players

There have been many great basketball players. Four of my favorites are JJ Redick, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Larry Bird. JJ Redick is the ACC all time leading scorer. Michael Jordan holds the NBA record for highest regular season scoring average with 30.1 points per game. Kobe Bryant is the first guard in NBA history to be drafted out of high school. Larry Bird is one of the best clutch players in NBA history. Players like this make basketball exciting.

ALEX

My brother Alex came home for the weekend. His birthday is on the 22nd. He is turning 23. He is in Maryland right now for Army training. He left yesterday. He does not start until the 6th. After Maryland he goes to Fort Hood, Texas.

I was just sitting around thinking wat I was going to write next. Then I thought of a question. If you could pick your own name, what would it be? I would be Luke.

Basketball

Right now my basketball my team is in a tournament. We won are first game by one point. It was a really good game. My team was ranked number 3 and they were 6.

Our next game will be harder. they will be the number 2 seed. Here are some videos from my last game.

Art class

Every Wednesday my mom teaches art to me and some of my friends. yesterday my mom taught us about form and imagination. last week we learned about shape. I think art is really fun.

If I Could Have a Treehouse

If I could have a treehouse, this is what it would be like. It would be made of wood and have one big room with a roof over it. It would be big enough to fit me and my friends. I would let my family in sometimes. There would be two windows with no glass. Instead of glass, there would be a shade to pull down when it is raining. A zip line would go from one window to the ground. You would climb into the treehouse by a rope ladder. Some of the things I would have in my treehouse are board games, toy cars and action figures, Legos, Playmobils, my bow and arrow, water balloons, food, a radio, a cooler for sodas, and a table. I would also have my toy guns so we could play War. One good reason for having a treehouse is that my big dog, Ranger, couldn't jump on us. It would be very high up.

JJ Reddick

JJ Reddick is my all time favorite Basketball player. He graduated from Duke 2 years ago. He was the all time leading scorer in Duke history. Now he plays for the Orlando Magic.

DUKE

My favorite college Basketball team is DUKE. My least favorite is UNC. I was really happy when UNC lost a game and DUKE won a game on the same night. UNC went from #1 to #5. DUKE went from #5 to #3.

For Christmas I got a bow and arrow set. Yesterday my brother finally went to get some straw so we can shoot the bow and arrow. It was fun.

Christmas

My favorite Christmas present I ever got is a Playstation 2. I have 12 different games. My favorite game is Basketball 2004. My favorite Christmas tradition is Secret Santa. We pick a name out of a hat. Whatever name I pick out of the hat, I do stuff for that person like making their bed or when they are asleep put a lollipop on their pillow.

I am so excited that basketball is about to start. Eric has his first game tonight against Franklin Academy. This is usually a very good game. I have tryouts this Saturday for Wake Forest town league. and DUKE is 6-0.

Yesterday I carved a pumpkin. I did Simba .

First I have to scoop out all the guts till it's clean.

Then you have to dot out the carving lines with a tack.

Then I carve the design on it with a pumpkin saw.

Sleepover

Last night I had a friend sleep over. He brought the movie "Transformers". We both got to see it for the first time. I thought it was great!

I have three plants I grew from seeds. I have basil, balm lemon, and lavender . I am going to make herb soap with them in science class.
